Yuanyuan Zhao is currently a one-year exchange PhD student at the UGent UAV Research Centre (URC), funded by the Special Fund for International Exchange of Graduate Students of Yangzhou University. She is a PhD candidate in Crop Cultivation and Farming System at Yangzhou University, China.

Her research focuses on remote sensing of crop phenotypes, in particular evaluating the tolerance of wheat to late sowing using multi-source UAV remote sensing data.
