Xiuni Li is a visiting Ph.D. student sponsored by the China Scholarship Council (CSC) at the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Research Center (URC). She is pursuing her doctoral degree in Crop Science at Sichuan Agricultural University (Chengdu).

From October 2024 to September 2025, she will conduct a one-year research visit at URC. Her research focuses on digital phenotyping and plant architecture modeling of soybean using high-throughput phenotyping techniques, as well as developing machine learning and artificial intelligence models. The aim is to provide key technological support for smart soybean breeding and precision cultivation.
