Michiel Vlaminck received his PhD degree in Computer Science Engineering from Ghent University in 2020. Since then, he is working as a postdoctoral researcher at the UAV Research center of Ghent Univerity. He is currently working on the topic of 3D scene reconstruction using active depth sensors. His research focuses on applications in the domains of augmented reality, autonomous robots and UAV.
